• THE STATUE OF UNITY IS THE WORLD’S TALLEST STATUE, WITH A HEIGHT OF 182 METRES (597 FEET),LOCATED NEAR KEVADIA IN THE STATE OF GUJARAT, INDIA. IT DEPICTS INDIAN STATESMAN AND INDEPENDENCE ACTIVIST VALLABHBHAI PATEL (1875–1950), WHO WAS THE FIRST DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND HOME MINISTER OF INDEPENDENT INDIA AND AN ADHERENT OF MAHATMA GANDHI.

• PATEL IS HIGHLY RESPECTED FOR HIS LEADERSHIP IN UNITING 562 PRINCELY STATES OF INDIA TO FORM THE SINGLE UNION OF INDIA. THE STATUE IS LOCATED IN GUJARAT ON THE NARMADA RIVER IN THE KEVADIYA COLONY, FACING THE SARDAR SAROVAR DAM 100 KILOMETRES (62 MI) SOUTHEAST OF THE CITY OF VADODARA.

• “INDIA HAS GOT A RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF “UNITY IN DIVERSITY”, THE ROOTS OF WHICH ARE INEXTRICABLY FOUNDED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF “VASUDHAIV KUTUMBAKAM”, MEANING THAT THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS A FAMILY.

Helicopter Ride At Statue Of Unity

You can enjoy an up-close view of the Statue of Unity with 10 minutes of a helicopter ride. Tickets can be purchased on the spot at a cost of Rs 2,900 per person and the helicopter can carry up to 5-7 passengers at one time. A helicopter tour is offered from 9:30 am until 1 hour before sunset every day, excluding Mondays.

Boating Ride At Statue Of Unity

2.5 km from the Statue of Unity Tourists coming to Ekta Nagar are also enjoying the pristine nature with this boat ride. Total duration of each ride is for 45 minutes at a cost of Rs413 per person and in a day eight rides are operationalized by the operator. The ride includes an iconic Statue of Unity in the setting.

Valley Of Flowers

Beautifully landscaped gardens featuring the magnificent Narmada river as well as the Statue of Unity in the background. Entry to Valley of Flowers is included in the cost of all Statue of Unity tickets. It was designed to offer an insight into the local ecosystem with hundreds of native species of plants, flowers bamboo, trees, grasses, and much more.

Sardar Patel Zoological Park And Jungle Safari

Over 375 acres The Sardar Patel Zoological Park as well as the Safari has a variety of magnificent big cats like one Asiatic Lion, a Royal Bengal Tiger and the Black Panther, and Leopards. In the midst of the 186 species of fauna found in 17 countries that encompass the different ecosystems in Africa, Australia, Asia and America.

Unity Glow Garden

After the sun sets after sunset, The Statue of Unity Glow Garden becomes to life! The perfect place to go after the 7 pm Projection Mapping Show, get prepared to be transported to the world of magical illuminations and lighting-based art installations on the Statue of Unity Glow Garden.

Dino Trail At Statue Of Unity

Find a model of Rajasaurus Narmadensis which was the first occupant of the Narmada Valley prior to the arrival of the human race. The Dino Trail is home to a replica of the endemic dinosaur with a distinctive horn. Measuring over 75 feet in length, and 25 feet in height, the replica is about 3 times the estimated size of the original dinosaur.

Cactus Garden And Butterfly Garden

Go into the Cactus Garden to view more than 500 kinds of Cactus and Succulent plants from all over the World and some that you can bring with you home. Additionally, there is next door is the Butterfly Garden featuring 38 species of butterflies. It was designed in a manner to draw the most native butterfly species while providing them with an environment.

Sardar Sarovar Dam View Points

It is the Sardar Sarovar Dam is the second-largest concrete gravity dam in the world situated on the majestic Narmada river, near the Statue of Unity. The construction took 56 years The Sardar Sarovar Dam provides electricity as well as drinking and water for irrigation in four states of India comprising Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Children Nutrition Park

6 kilometers from the Statue of Unity Although junk food is the latest trend for children The Children’s Nutrition Park offers a new perspective on healthy eating habits for children. Explore interactive games, test to avoid getting caught in the mirror and hop aboard the Nutri-train, and many more! The cost of tickets is the price of Rs200 for adults and Rs125 for children
